Aneesha is a senior studying Economics and Business Institutions in the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences. As a freshman, she became a part of Northwestern Formula Racing through her passion for cars. She originally joined the Chassis sub team as a freshman and became the Assistant Project Manager in her second year. She has been the Project Manager since the start of her junior year and will be continuing that role for her senior year as well. Through her time on NFR, she has made great friends and discovered a new love for motorsports. When away from the car, Aneesha enjoys her time on the NU Equestrian Team and has fun traveling, rowing, and watching Hawaii Five-0.
Daniel is a senior studying Mechanical Engineering in the McCormick School of Engineering. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Daniel joined NFR his freshman year to deepen his knowledge of engineering beyond his classwork. His freshman and sophomore years, he was a part of the Powertrain subteam where he worked on projects such as dynamometer, intake, and shifting as well as taking over as Powertrain Lead at the end of winter quarter his sophomore year. He then took the role of Chief Engineer for his junior and senior years. He has also spent a lot of time welding for powertrain and became one of the primary welders for the team his junior year. When Daniel is not working on the car, you can find him in the gym or at Chick-fil-A.
Assistant Project Manager
Brian is a sophomore studying Economics and Data Science in the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences. He joined Northwestern Formula Racing as a member of the Electronics subteam his freshman year, and is now serving as the Assistant Project Manager. When away from the team, he enjoys watching sunrises and going on long drives.
Bohan is a senior Mechanical Engineering major in the McCormick School of Engineering. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Bohan transferred into Northwestern his sophomore year and joined the Aerodynamics subteam, eventually becoming the Aerodynamics Lead after designing the rear wing. He enjoys teaching others about the machinations of fluid dynamics, and outside of NFR, he enjoys producing music, working out, and playing video games.
Ethan is a senior studying Mechanical Engineering as well as computer science in the McCormick School of Engineering. Originally from Glenview, Illinois, Ethan has been a member of the NFR Team since his freshman year. Ethan originally joined due to an interest in pursuing a long term engineering project, but the great people and friends he’s made are what kept him on the team. When not busy working on NFR, Ethan enjoys hiking, skiing, playing video games, and leading the Chassis sub team to greatness.
Taylor is a sophomore studying Mechanical Engineering, with an interest in making things, and making those things move. He joined NFR as a freshman and likes how every tiny detail on the car has purpose and intention behind it. Outside of NFR, Taylor enjoys hiking, rock climbing, and coffee.
Chris is a sophomore studying Computer & Electrical Engineering. He’s focusing on increasing reliability, education, team morale, and production quality this year. He enjoys cooking, climbing things, and walking around in the forest aimlessly for hours until he finds himself on top of a mountain or, less ideally, in Canada.
Shane is a Junior studying Mechanical Engineering in the McCormick School of Engineering as well as Economics. Originally from Oklahoma City, Shane has been a member of the NFR Team since his freshman year. Shane developed a symbiotic relationship with cars as a toddler but joining Northwestern’s Formula Racing team afforded him the opportunity to dive deeper into automotive engineering and motorsports. When not busy working on NFR, Shane enjoys road biking, traveling, cooking wood fired pizza, and the smell of gasoline.
